By Apostle William Korir
My God is God. He is my faithful God. I believe Him and deeply believes in His promises. I believe every detail of His word. in the Book of John 15:7 and Mathew 7:7; God gives His assurance to provide what we ask for. John 15:7 "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.(NKJV). Mt 7:7 "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.(NKJV).
In the early 90s, I crossed a thick forest to some distant land. It was during a dry spell so I wore just a shirt. I reached my destination and once I was through with what I had gone to do, I headed back to my home, crossing over the thick forest on my way back. I was alone in the journey and scarcely met people on the road. The weather changed instantly and it started to rain heavily. As the rains approached where I was I knelt down under a huge tree and prayed to God passionately. I asked God to let the rain pour in the forest in full measure and according the way he had planned. I asked him not to reduce even an inch. Then I thanked him for answering my pray. I then proceeded to make my unique request.
I reminded the heavenly father the promise in the book of John 15:7 which reads "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.(NKJV). I then asked God to give me an invisible umbrella as it was getting late and I had cover a long distance to reach home. Then after concluding in the NAME OF JESUS. Just then torrential rains poured. I could not see the ground a foot away because of the heavy rain. I rose from where I knelt down. and did not ponder on the torrential rain. By faith I walked into the heavy rains, and believe you me, I made three steps and the miracle happened. Rain stopped around me as it poured heavily away from me. only my shoes came in contact with water.
I walked for a bout 2 kilometres without any drop touching my clothes., remember I had only a shirt. I met a woman after crossing a stream in the thicket with two children and a baby. She had an big umbrella but because of the heavy rain she was soaked with the rain water up to the breast. The woman was terrified to see me walking dense rain without an umbrella but with dry clothes! She couldn't see God's invisible umbrella. it is true God answers all prayers made for a good course and by faith.
Praise the Lord for His love for His children endures for ever and ever.
